Seven European Universities co-operate closely in creating and developing a Joint European Master's Degree in International Humanitarian Action.
This collaboration involves the following joint activities:
Perception, identification and evaluation of emerging social needs; Definition and update of professional profiles; Elaboration and update of core course elements; Design and planning of educational experience; Development of curricula and teaching-learning methods, as well as teacher exchanges and joint teaching programmes; Devising complementary orientation periods; Agreement on mutual recognition of courses; Graduates' career development; Creation of common structures for decision-making and for quality assurance and enhancement; Establishment of joint criteria for students admission and examination; and Design of the joint course diploma issued in addition to the degree awarded by each university. The seven core universities have gradually integrated the joint training and research programme into their respective curricula, achieving a high degree of co-operation and integration, while preserving their speciality and traditions.
NOHA students come from all over the world and register in the NOHA network. They are admitted following a highly competitive selection process agreed by the Network and can therefore enrol for courses jointly recognised by each of the participating universities, with the assurance of good communication links between them.
